Feature Friday

Happy Friday friends!

Seriously, who doesn't love Friday?? This Friday is my last Friday of this incredibly weird school year so it feels extra special. Next Monday - Wednesday are our "exam" days, which are not happening so it's really just a few days for the students to finish up any work and then that's that. #WeirdestSchoolYearEver

At any rate, let's get to it!

For today's Feature Friday, I wanted to share a website that I would be so lost without!

Ravelry

I love, love, love this website! It is basically a curation site to help you to store and keep track of all of your knit and crochet projects. You can add an inventory of your yarn stash so you know what you have at all times (I haven't gone there yet), you can keep track of current WIPs (Works in Progress), find patterns for pretty much anything, and organize your patterns, magazines, etc.

As a lifetime member of Happily Hooked Magazine, I have access to every issue they have ever published. They include a way to get the issue on Ravelry so you have it there forever too (and it does make it handy when looking for patterns). I organized my library by the year of issue and it is fantastic and so useful! If someone shares a project they made and says it's from Issue # and Month/Year, I can immediately head to my Ravelry library and find it.

One of my favorite things about the site is being able to keep track of my own WIPs and seeing all of my finished projects makes me feel so happy. Maybe I'm a total dork for that but it seriously just makes my heart feel good to see how much I have accomplished in such a short amount of time.

If you haven't used Ravelry before and aren't really sure what I'm talking about, I created a short video to show you how it works.
